The following has been contributed by a member of the Saint Edward Email News and Prayer Request Network for your information:
I wish to ask for prayers for Dr. John Ries, a former member of St. Ed’s. He is battling a septic infection, brought on by pneumonia.
God’s blessings to you and all who support the Prayer Network.
Please email anything you would like to share through this email network to <mailto:PrayerNetwork@stedwardsisters.org> PrayerNetwork@stedwardsisters.org Also, please let us know if you would like to have any email addresses added to or removed from the distribution list. Thank you.
I just wanted you to know our Prayer Network still exists even though we have not received any requests to pass along for some time. If you have someone who needs our support through prayer, please just reply to this email and I will forward it out to our 70+ members from St. Edward the Martyr past and present.
Thank you and Blessings,
From: Karen Sheldahl [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org]
I learned today by happen-stance Father Joseph’s 15th Anniversary of Ordination to the priesthood is Thursday, January 3, 2019.
It would be good to show our appreciation for Father by attending Morning Mass at 8:00 am. Please feel free to share this information with others.
Grace and Peace to you and yours in the New Year.
Eileen O’Brien passed away this past Thursday, August 23rd. Services are pending at this time, as her daughters take time to privately mourn the loss of their sweet mother.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
Please pray for Ben DeGaetano, husband of deceased parishioner Mary DeGaetano, who lost his home in the fire that swept thru Cascade Estates Saturday afternoon.
Please keep Dick Dougherty in your prayers as he has fallen and fractured his pelvis.
Eileen O’Brien fell Monday night, and is in St Charles with a broken shoulder. Please think of her while praying.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Lorraine Escalante, mother of David Blakeslee, who passed away early Tuesday morning in her sleep. The last month of her life she was cared for by Hospice, some of the most wonderful people in the world.
Long time parishioner Howard Gorman continues to need prayers in dealing with a recent diagnosis of an aggressive form of cancer and decisions related to treatment.
Please keep Chuck (and Terry) Terhune in your prayers. Chuck has experienced some health issues while visiting Louisiana. Their daughters are currently working together to get them back to Oregon comfortably, so that they can better assess their medical needs.
